About the Book

This book was inspired by every one I know. The places I’ve been and people I’ve met. This gave me the inspiration to write this book of poems. I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it I hope there is something in the collection of poems that will help you through your troubled or quiet times. This book was written through the heart and means a great deal to me. My parents were my biggest inspiration while writing this book. My wife and family have supported me and helped keep my spirits high. I hope this is to be first of many books to come. I hope you enjoy, God bless you and yours.

About the Author

My name is Curtis Andrew Salmon, I’m a ex truck driver from West Virginia. This book of poems was inspired by my cross county travels. I grew up in and out of foster homes so my childhood was very unstable and limited. My brother encouraged me to publish my poems. In 1973 at the age of eighteen I joined the US Army and was there for two years. Upon leaving the military got married and started driving tractor and trailer over the road. I did this for nineteen years. I’ve been to all forty eight states plus Canada and Mexico. My travels are what inspired me to write these poems.
