About the Book

The “Sticky Wick the Tick…goes for a ride” book is an introductory story about a pet friendly tick named Sticky Wick and his companion dog friend named Rick. Together these friends share many adventures and in this particular story, they take a ride in a car with Rick’s master who is named Nick.

It is easy to see that these two like each other and truly enjoy doing things together. They also watch out for each other like good friends would. In the end, they make plans for other adventures together.

About the Author

SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF THE AUTHOR [100 WORDS OR LESS] The son of a Michigan farmer, John was raised on a farm with six brothers and five sisters. As the third oldest, he had plenty of experience in occupying young children with stories and games and great adventures. He has always been fascinated with the world of animals and the vastness of the creatures all around us. He is a certified educator with a bachelor and master degree in education and has taught at the middle and high school level in addition to many years at the collegiate level. He has also authored a number of published articles in various journals and enjoys playing the bass guitar within his church’s Praise and Worship Band. SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF THE ILLUSTRATOR [100 WORLDS OR LESS] Sharon [Rowe] Servoss was raised on a farm with 11 siblings. As the second girl of five girls and the seventh child of 12 children, Sharon had the best of both worlds with bigger brothers and a big sister and also younger brothers and sisters. Her drawing talent was noticed early. She has painted many murals and other forms of artistic expression. Some of her work can be seen on the walls of the TeePee Day care center and a famous downtown restaurant in Tecumseh, Michigan. Sharon is married with four children of her own and is very active within her community and church. She is the younger sister of John Rowe.
