Is or What is a collection of teary nights in bed and words of whatever comes to mind in second period class, written down on paper. Many of the works in this book are repetitive because certain events or people have effected me more radically, making a lot of these pieces relative to one another. As a reader, you will see that continuous theme.

About the Author

Devin Raye Gruner is a seventeen year old who lives on Long Island, New York. She spends her time singing and performing in choral groups and in musicals at her school. Singing is the love of her life. She loves spending time with her family and adores her little cousins. Devin hopes to amount to all that she can be but doesn’t know what she would like to do with her life just yet. She is goofy, somehow serious, compassionate and constantly happy. She loves her life, everything about it, and hopes to continue to always have that outlook on the people and places surrounding her. She wants to be as unique and remembered as she can.
