About the Author

John Morris is a retired educator, who taught second and third graders for 28 years in the Town of Bourne, on Cape Cod. He now teaches energy education for the Cape Light Compact (www.capelightcompact.org) to students from kindergarten through high school, as well as to teachers. He also occasionally works for the National Energy Education Development Project (www.NEED.org). John, who is called Andy by his friends, is a member of the board of directors for the Barnstable County Beekeepers Association (www.barnstablebeekeeper.org), and is a member of the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association (www.SABA.org), and a life member of both the Massachusetts Beekeepers Association (www.massbee.org) and the Eastern Apicultural Society (www.easternapiculture.org). He enjoys all things in nature, kayaking and playing guitar.
