About the Author

“WE DON’T JUST SIT IN ROCKING CHAIRS” was written by a group of multi-generational authors. Each author has donated their story to the Etowah Area Senior Citizens Center in Etowah, Tennessee as a fund raising project. “We don’t just sit in rocking chairs” is our way of saying to the world - “We are staying active! We have a lifetime of experiences and memories to pass on to our younger generation. Listen to each other, learn, and share the wisdom you have gained throughout these years. Old, is only in your mind.”
