While searching for a possible missing person, a semi-retired detective finds himself entangled in a plot for revenge. The story begins as Jack Ireland, satisfied with his life in Golden, Colorado, comes out of his self-imposed exile to visit his sister-in-law in Ocala, Florida. While he is visiting her, she begs him to look into the disappearance of a close friend of hers. He reluctantly agree´s. Unexpectedly, this investigation will take him back to Minnesota and down some twisted and mind-boggling avenues.
While he searches for the mysterious Cassie Channing, someone else is paying close attention to him. Jack will be reminded of his past as an ominous force creeps into his life, demanding a day of retribution.
In "Vengeance" Jack Ireland is, once again, challenged in his personal life and in his life as a detective. While he is seeking the answers for one possible crime, he is led into another far more menacing. Will he be able to tie everything together before disaster strikes those he cares most about? Gail “Soberg” Sorenson was born and raised in a small community just south of Minneapolis proper. She is married and resides in a small community in Iowa. She has six kids and fourteen grandchildren. She and her husband have owned and operated their own business for the passed twenty-five years, allowing her to be a stay at home mom. Her hobbies are reading, writing and genealogy. She has traveled the United States from shore to shore, visited Europe, Japan and Korea.
