About the Author

Pamela Ann George was born in Jamaica in 1934 and after graduating as a medical practitioner. Her practice has included an academic post in preventive medicine at the University College of the West Indies and research into some of the complications of diabetes. Pamela married husband Emil George. Q.C. in 1960 and went on to have two sons who followed in their father's footsteps to become successful lawyers. Now in semi-retirement and as a grandmother of 6 girls, she spends as much time as possible with her three granddaughters living in 'Jamaica who are the inspiration for these wonderful stories.
