About the Author

SHAHEENA AYUB BHATTI is Associate Professor in the Faculty of English Language, Linguistics and Literature at the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, Pakistan, where she has been teaching ESL, English and American literature since she started her teaching career in 1984.Currently she is attached to the American Indian Studies Department at the University of Arizona, Tucson, as Fulbright Visiting Scholar and the focus of her research is the concept of medicine, healing and the environment in Native American literature. She has presented at numerous conferences and symposia during her stay in the US. This book is a collection of essays that she has been working on for the last few years and especially during her stay at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
