This book is the first in a series of fictional memoirs. The other three volumes deal with Zahn’s fatherly devotion and sympathy for an epileptic youth whose disability is almost psychopathic. Nobody has done what these books do – imagine, portray and understand the delusions of a deluded kid. The style is fictional in order to illustrate the youth’s courageous, but dispiriting, paranoia.
