Welcoming Oneness

About the Book

Welcoming Oneness is not only the title but the theme of this book, and that Oneness must include the unseen realms we call spiritual as well as the seen realm. The poems make up a bouquet of unfolding flowers, whereby each flower, having found a tiny crack in the wall of self, saw a light and reached for it. Then, after going through the learning experience of pushing the wall's old concepts and feelings aside, rays from that light warmed each flower's petals until they opened unto its heart, and a poem was born. Thus each poem was not the work of mind alone, but an experiential creation, beginning from deep inside the heart, seeding yearning and aspirations, and finally traveling into the sphere of expanding consciousness whereby it could be lived. As such, each page might hold a treasure that can be a lesson in itself, opening ones heart or mind into beauty or lifting one out of a space that is unworthy of their wondrous being.

About the Author

I am now in my 70's, but does that say I am loving or wise? We all are eternal beings, drops in the ocean of humanity, and each of us is expanding the consciousness of all of us through our varied awareness. My course of life has taken me through 12 years of university, extensive travel through Europe, wonderful growth invoking relationships, and the study of many spiritual philosophies. Though much of my early experiences occurred while sleepwalking within the material objective world, my awakening to the deeper aspects of life and love was inevitable after I gave myself unreservedly to the Higher Powers That Be -- Source -- God. Like all of us, each day, I greet the sun with gratefulness and a small prayerful meditation, welcoming the guidance that comes from within the depths of my being. And each day I try to keep open to the energies reflected in my world and gently uplift them as I continue my journey into expansive consciousness, mastery of self, and Integrity with the higher spectrum of my being.
