About the Book
The Northern Races are an extreme winter sport with snowboarding, skiing, target shooting, and a physical obstacle course. The four teams must win two out of three races to move on to the next location. First, the Red team, with a rookie. Will he be able to handle the pressure of going professional? Will the star, regret her decision to change teams, after her win last season? Secondly, the Blue team. The dominating all male team and the winners of last seasons finale. Can they do it two years in a row? Will it be the Green team, with the oldest, but most accomplished snowboarder? Will their strict coach push them to the win? Or, lastly the Yellow team. The fierce all female team must prove they can work together, but will a love interest with an opposing Racer be a distraction?
About the Author
The author and her husband of twelve years, are from the mid-west. They are proud owners of a pit-bull, named Mongo (from her favorite movie). They love to play any backyard game, but her favorite is Bags and water vollyball. She also enjoys watching the Olympics, the X Games, and MMA, but will watch anything with a competitive edge. She has been a Physical Therapist Assistant for eighteen years and enjoys working with orthopedic patients. They have jokingly given her many nick-names over the years, such as "The Drill Sergeant", "Physical Terrorist", and her favorite, "Hot Sauce", (a little goes a long way)!
