About the Book

Growing up in the rural south was “Hard but Fair” for these two families. The Tezeno and Breaux families are living a life that has long since passed. History has woven them together: family secrets have kept them together. You see, sharecropping has long since past ,but these two families are stuck in time and stuck with each other. An unfortunate event occurs and breaks the circle. One family is set free and restored ;while the other is broken. Read as you see that faith brings us to places we never expect. These two families realize that we are all different. But it is those differences that makes us the same. We Need Each Other.

About the Author

Yvette Brooks Tyler was born and raised in a rural south area called Bellevue, Louisiana. After graduating from Sunset High School, Yvette went on to receive a Bachelors and Master’s Degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Potsdam University in Potsdam, New York. Yvette currently resides in Church Point with her husband Todd Tyler, Sr. The couple have been married 27 years. They have two c hildren Todd Tyler, Jr. and Kelly Tyler and grandchildren, Karson Kole and Macey. Yvette is a proud military dependent wife (retired). The Tyler’s spent 20 years in the United States Army. Yvette is also a playwright, who has several plays in production.
