About the Book
After loosing everything how does one maintain their faith? After loosing her ministry, her church, her friends, and a baby, Val Walters must answer that question for her own life. Woman of Birth is the story of a Job-like struggle. Out of the depths of failure and accusation Val must face her own relationship with Jesus and choose to serve Him no matter what. After attending a birth as an assistant where the baby is stillborn Val learns that faith, and Christianity don’t always mean the same thing and that the love of God exceeds any human expectation or limitation.
About the Author
Pauline Dillard was a birth educator and birth assistant for twelve years. She has experienced births in all birth settings from planned home births, with and without midwives, to hospital births and planned cesareans. Pauline also ran a birthing ministry for five years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is certified with the American Academy of Christian Counselors. She currently lives in Colorado with her husband and three sons where she also does substitute teaching.
