About the Book
Andrea is from the United States and visits her cousin, Olga, Aunt Beth and Uncle Detmir. She loves seeing the beautiful Swiss Chalets with their pretty flower boxes and the fabulous Swiss Alps. She and Olga have the chore of taking the goats to upper mountain each day. One day they decide to take a train to the top of the mountain and are having great fun until they remember the goats that needed to go back down to be milked. In haste, they hurry to the train station to find that the train had left without them. What would they do? About the Author
Shirley and her husband, Gene, reside in Athens, Pennsylvania. Shirley worked for IBM Corporation for 24 years, where she gained experience in writing. It was during those years she developed a deep desire to write children's books. Her first published children's book is Unbearable Facts. Shirley is a dedicated wife, mother of three married daughters, Sandi, Glenda and Cathy and has ten grandchildren. She has been a speaker at many ladies meetings and is active in her church as Sunday School teacher, and participates in choir and orchestra. She also serves as School Board Director in the Athens Area School District. She is happy to have her friend Carol Robinson do the illustrations.
