About the Book

“My name is Jim Standish. I am a United States Senator from California. In addition, I run the largest construction company in the world. It is my destiny to construct the large project in Tupelo, Ohio, the last piece I need to make a run for president very soon. I will serve you well.”

“Jim is quite the story teller. My name is Tom Taylor. I will decide which company gets the billion dollar project based upon how good it is for Tupelo.

“If you stand in my way I’ll bury you,” Standish warned.

“I will do my job.” Taylor replied.

About the Author

Born in Detroit, Salmons embarked on his adult life by going to Michigan State University and becoming a planner. He spent a large portion of his life in Lansing Michigan, but has also lived and worked in North Carolina and Florida, his current place of residence. He has been a professional planner, supervised housing and zoning code enforcement, and was even a licensed contractor for a while. Most of his writing has been humorous short stories. The Power of Greed is his first endeavor into the fiction novel genre.
