About the Author
M.E. Kemp (Marilyn Kemp Rothstein) was born and raised in Oxford, Massachusetts where her ancestors settled in 1713. She is the author of textbooks on local and state government. Her articles have appeared in many national magazines and her essay won the BPW Women in History prize in 1999. She teaches writing courses in upstate New York. Kemp-Rothstein is a member of The Unusual Suspects, the Adirondack Center for Writing and the New England chapter of Sisters in Crime. She runs a dance program in Saratoga Springs, NY where she lives with husband Jack and two cats.
