About the Book

Upon moving to a sleepy town in the San Bernardino, California mountains, neuroscientist, Dr. Richard Morgan, stumbles across a mysterious, debilitating disease. Nearly everyone in town is exposed, yet only the most prominent succumb to the potential insanity it offers.

How is it that only a specific type of person is affected by the weird sounds coming out of the old inventor’s shop? Why is it that a tape recording of that noise is capable of creating brain damage in certain laboratory animals? The answer lies hidden in the fact that vulnerability appears to be measured in terms of social status.

The confusion and suspense escalate as Dr. Morgan and the object of his newly acquainted romance unravel the pieces of a mystery that encompasses a scope of which they are, with each new day, unwittingly becoming an increasingly important part.

Research turns to chaos and murder when the dark force of one of the nation’s leading government agencies attempts to possess the ability to dispense the lethal disease...unaware that a nameless organization is also intent on utilizing the destructive nature of this “auditory virus” to rid the government of power-crazed maniacs.

This well paced novel also explores the notion that rampant sex among the politically affluent may well be a response to a far more deeply perverted aspect of the brain in those individuals.

About the Author

Bob Schwarz is somewhat of a rebel. Born in Southern California in 1951, he has spent most of his life in California and Nevada (where he now resides). With a profound sense of distrust and distaste for many government agencies, most lawyers, and nearly all politicians, he weaves tales of fiction with threads of reality and insight. His primary purpose in writing is to present alternative perspectives from which to view social, political, and psychological ideals...along with a great story.
