About the Book

A town nestled in southern Oregon falls into a twist of time, leading the lives and history that should have been - spiraling through the next century down the wrong timeline.  In Ester, Oregon, many people have felt the wrongness, the strange powerful hold of an evil man who runs the town - and even more; the knowing that an ominous cloud that has hovered above their lives.

Only one woman holds the truth and has carried it with her through three lifetimes.  She comes to Ester in of search the dreams that have always haunted her and finds an unlikely friend in an elderly journalist, David, who has had just enough happen in his own life to take the time to listen to her story.  Before he has a chance to decide whether he even believes in what this young woman has to say, he is thrown from his life in a freak accident that leaves him in coma. From there the timelines merge and secrets are revealed as David is thrown from one time to another until he begins to understand, and finds the road he must take before he can make things right again

C.L. Jones lives on the Oregon Coast with her husband, Ted. Chimera is her third novel. She is currently at work on the Second Book of Passages.
