About the Book

Who could have killed Bubba Riggsbee?   Who would murder a  real nice guy who worked diligently at the supermarket so he could go to college, play basketball and become an athletic teacher?  But there he was, stone cold dead behind the fish counter, hit over the head with a frozen flounder!    He and Pearlie Gates were soon to be married, and no one in this friendly university town could understand why anyone would want to murder Bubba.

A neighbor tells us how the entire community set about trying to solve the crime, and what else was going on at the same time.  Read it and it will make you chuckle,  then laugh out loud, and every once in a while you may even get misty-eyed.
