About the Author
Born in Teaneck, New Jersey in 1958 the author spent his formative years in the nearby town of Wyckoff. He began writing poetry in college in 1977. Graduating from Cornell University, Class of ’80, he attended medical school for one year. Later receiving a masters in Physics he worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. His first book, My Summer Years, published in 2000 is available through Xlibris Corporation. Mr. Hermida’s poetry, with pathos from life experiences, has been called erudite but accessible. You will find his latest work, Poetry For A Lifetime, both enjoyable and fascinating.
