About the Author

Ms. Durbin was born in Southwestern Pennsylvania in 1948, and was raised in a loving home, by foster parents Harold Francis and Mabel Rebecca (Frye) Durbin. She completed and graduated McGuffey High School on June 6, 1966. In 1970, she graduated and passed state board tests for Cosmetology, and worked in her foster mother’s beauty shop until it was closed in 1975. She is currently a college student at Cal University, California, Pennsylvania, with a duel major in History and Archaeology, hoping to get through her Masters and get a PhD. She has four children, and four grandsons, with the newest grandson born June 21, 2000. She loves dogs and cats; currently her favorite pet is Freckles, her dog. She enjoys writing, and also, reading mystery stories written by others.
