About the Book
What I Know about You: 100 Lesbian & Gay New York Voices is fact as fiction, fiction as fact. Narrator Nick introduces his homosexual friends: the suave A-list and Fire Islanders, hustlers, street transvestites, lost kids, gender benders, etc.. Comic, tragic, camp, flip or sincere, they will make you fret, laugh out loud, think, understand. If true-to-life stories, this is personal history; if representative of the homosexual experience, sociology. But it’s all engaging, informative entertainment. These people are striking, perfectly credible, intensely human as each tells his or her story in his or her own words.
Explicit language, not pornographic.
