About the Book
Conspiracy.… A photographer uncovers a disturbing secret about our national pastime. Hardly spontaneous competition, games are carefully rehearsed performances of “scripts” -- computer-generated game protocols. Five disillusioned players and an ambitious journalist encourage the photographer to share his revelation. A sports psychiatrist masterminds the cover up, fighting the media and a corrupt Commissioner who stops at nothing to protect the industry.
“Delivered with the authority of a fastball high and inside, PROTOCOL 9, a story of innocence vs. avarice, makes readers think twice about any computer-age institution where a powerful few are in control.”
–Jon Wilson, St. Petersburg Times
