DID YOU HEAR THE LORD CRY? The night God called, Doris, preach, teach my word He cried. Or like others preach your own word? I heard His tears over Jerusalem How oft I gathered as a Mother hen. But they would not heed and obey their Lord And Creator but rebelled in discord. O Lord, I wept, I will preach, teach your word, But first you must teach me your Holy Word. There we agreed that night with all our might And began this journey into the light. A day with the Lord is a thousand years Or a thousand years as a day; appears. Together faithfully the Lord led me Verses, chapters and books, repeatedly. There claimed fidelity, all in His time. In ecstasy of comprehension climb, And rising, in faith in His Holy name, We won, Praise the Lord, When He called my name. By Rev. Doris M.
