About the Book

On October 6, 2005, The Witching Hour, a Harry Potter symposium, commenced in Salem, Massachusetts. For five days, attendees had a chance to don their cloaks, grasp their wands, tote their magical texts and Apparate to the Historic District of Salem for magic and merry-making, text and context, craft and criticism.
