About the Book

The End of Outrageous is fiction—action/adventure, mystery, thriller, with international intrigue and high-level political conflicts. The novel is about the war on terror, post Osama bin Laden, who has met his demise. But Osama has left a legacy, and many disciples to carry on the battle, and a new leader who takes the war to America's shores. U.S. Senator from California, Amanda Tower-Stilwell, is very attractive and popular, and she has a personal secret that has suddenly become a threat to her life—she is "Outrageous", the pseudonym of a best-selling novelist. Her latest novel has outraged Islamic militants who have sentenced Outrageous to death for allegedly blaspheming Islam. So far, the terrorists do not know the identity of the author, but are on the hunt to find that identity so they can carry out an execution. They have managed to find her literary agent and murder him and steal a new Outrageous manuscript they will use as a roadmap for their killings. The terrorists have penetrated the U.S. with sleeper cells who launch deadly attacks and then credit the author, Outrageous, for the inspiration. Amanda's husband, Simon Stilwell (co-protagonist) runs an intelligence think tank and he takes up the fight and the hunt, hunting for those who hunt Amanda in a race to save lives. Amanda and Simon are battered by defeat after defeat as the terrorists unleash a series of escalating attacks in America (and one in London), and then continue to give the author, Outrageous, thanks for the inspiration. One terrorist leader is actually an American, code-named the "American Ayatollah", someone suspected of being a high-level government employee, a traitor whose agenda is to bring down the president and his administration. The "Supreme Leader" of the terrorists is an Islamic militant, Sheik Al-Hadushi, who is hiding in Iran, with the support of the Iranian government. At the peak of the attacks the president threatens war, but the risks are enormous and Iran responds with: "Go to hell, America." War seems unavoidable, and Amanda is in the middle of it all. In Iran, the "Ultimate Martyr" weapon is being prepared for a trip to America, a weapon stolen from America, and modified with a design to kill up to 5 million infidels. The terrorists are ahead in the hunt, as the "American Ayatollah" discovers that Senator Amanda Tower-Stilwell is the author, Outrageous. Simon, in the midst of finding the killers and their leaders before they can execute the "Ultimate Martyr", must also protect his wife, and . . . he makes a deadly decision to save her. Amanda, risking exposure and her life, takes desperate measures to stop the killing and to keep a reckless and trigger-happy president from starting a war with Iran. Find out and enjoy how "Outrageous" meets her end, but keeps her secret.
