Trina is a lawyer on the fast track to success. Jay is a senior partner at the same law firm. About the Author

L.A. McGruder was originally born in Jamaica, NY but currently resides in Upstate New York. She has an Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Management and is the proud mother of two daughters, age 12 and two months. After spending the last 12 years in the medical field, she changed careers. Though she received some recognition for her poetry, her first love is writing stories. One of her favorite sayings is “if you can conceive it, you can achieve it.” It has been the motivating force behind her entire adult life. She credits having parents who were school teachers for her success.
