Cassandra Wynstrom is naively swept into her town’s ploy to set a prophecy in motion: to begin the next war against the Empians, a deadly race that discovered a way to spawn vampires before their own extinction. Traveling from 1880 North America to one of the islands of Madeira where the powerful Temple awaits, Cassandra knows she cannot help Lharkin defeat the humans who are coming for her rescue, yet she can’t accept her prophecy of destroying Lharkin and his followers, either. She decides there is only one way to stop it all: redeem Lharkin’s soul from darkness, before the war begins, so that he could cease his terrible plans… However, in her quest to save his spirit, she discovers how dark and dangerous this venture becomes. This novel is the Canadian extended version of The Summoner via Amazon Kindle (due to come out Spring 2017)
