About the Book

An aging cattle baron frustrated in his late life, as to what may become of his vast holdings, when there are no heirs. He is aware of the urgency of the disposition from people he knows. One in particular feels he should be the chosen one. The atmosphere turns grim when it is learned he is leaving all his property to a drifter that saved his life.

About the Author

The author Robert Ray Edgington is a member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the 8th and 12th Army Air Force in England and North Africa during World War II. His squadron was one of the first to arrive in England in 1942. Robert is the author of five novels including “Hoosier Bob”, “Hoosier Bob and Dude”, “ Pistols and Ponytails”, “The Back Of My Heart”, and “They Called Him Jark”. He holds a B.S. Degree from Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio and a M.E. Degree from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio.
