About the Book

Bridgewater Girls embraces the community, spirit, and good will of a small Midwestern Town. Students today live in a fast-paced world where changes and safety can no longer be taken for granted. These middle school students enjoy a multicultural background, which enhances their life experiences. Throughout this story these young people learn the importance of a solid support system which is not only a good idea but also necessary. I hope you will enjoy these middle school students, their friends, and families, in the small town of Bridgewater, population 1250 with one on the way.

About the Author

Ms. Ratcliffe has a background in business, education, and crisis counseling and understands the importance of a support system. A native of California, she spent several memorable years in Missouri where small towns flourish under the watchful eyes of their neighbors. The love, cooperation, and support from these warm-hearted people are what make our country great no matter what happens. Ms. Ratcliffe likes to read, write, quilt, travel, and spend special time with her pet bird, Budgie and, of course, joke around with her stepfather, Dr. Hand, A.K.A. Dr. Foot, pictured with her on the cover.
