About the Author

Tanya Smith is a happily married mother of two. She is a first generation college graduate and wrote this book while in college. Tanya is currently working as a Junior High Math teacher. She is also currently working on her master’s degree in middle school mathematics, and inspires to get a PH.D in School Administration. She wrote this book as a college assignment shortly after the passing of her father in 2001. Her son was only five when his grandpa died. The two of them were very close, and this book was written for him to help understand death.
