Revealing some never seen before photos to the public of the famed best selling Author and Teacher Anne hobbs Purdy´s house and surrounding area.Anne Purdy published two books in the span of her life as a mother of 11 adopted alaska native children and as a teacher in this rugged harsh land.Her first book was published in 1954 penned Dark Boundary and wasn´t very well known until it was republished in 2002 by Anne Purdy´s grandson Brian Johnson.Her second book Tisha was published in 1976 and was co authored with Robert Specht and was a national and international best seller. Now 32 years later Tisha´s House and the Fortymile Country is a new glimpse into the old gold rush era.
