Mr. Nixon is an insightful young man that knows his way around the streets. Trained to survive among wolves from an early age, he is trying to bring a hard but simple reality to light about the streets. That is that there are consequences to every choice you choose to make so choose wisely because the wrong move could cost you! Mr. Nixon explains that the present glorification of a lifestyle to most has cost him the past seventeen years of his life. Promises of the true Gangsta’s Dream seems to be just a wavering memory, more less, with no end in sight. It is both confusing and amazing to me. My current everyday existence has to be the closet thing to Hell on Earth! Truth be told so many young people answer the call of the streets and throw cautions to the wind with the consequences being what I now face. In pursuit of the lifestyle commonly referred to as “Balling”. “Ball to you Fall......Shop to you Drop”..... use to be my favorite motto statement. I’ve made choices that have had a devastating effect on many lives. Not excluding those of my loved ones and myself. If I could do things over, there’s a lot I would change. Some of my fellow comrades have a second chance some don’t. For those who have options to travel another more positive path I sincerely hope they make that choice. The cars, jewelry, women and good times have all become a distant faded memory! I would gladly give them all back for a chance to play with my kids to be a true father, in the true sense. If nothing else, I hope my predicament serves as a deterrent to all aspiring gangsters, or hustlers, by reminding them that Notoriety comes with a helluva hefty price tag.
