About the Book
Dream Warrior is a collection of poetry about the struggle one encounters on the quest to fulfill one’s life purpose. The collection covers universal themes like: freedom, social justice, the importance of spirituality, and the nature of good versus evil. The book is unique in that it is being released along with a music CD also entitled, “Dream Warrior.” The CD is a collection of “Hip-Hop” songs that cover the same universal themes. Although entertaining, the primary purpose of this work is to inspire. The work is also aimed at destroying the negative stereotypes associated with “Hip-Hop” Culture due to the corruption, commercialization, and exploitation of the culture for profit. Dream Warrior also contains paintings that are a visual expression of the themes covered in the music and poetry. This work is meant to revolutionize the way the world interprets, life, art, the African American Experience and “Hip-Hop” Culture. The work is guaranteed to enlighten, inspire, and change not only the individual, but society for the better. In the words of the author, “this is very revolutionary!”
