About the Book

About the Author

Born in the heart of the Tall Grass Prairie in the Osage nation, Nancy grew up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She has a BS in math and French and an MA in Math. The mother of three children, she spent the first half of her working career as a high school math teacher in Kansas and the last half as a consultant for the Oklahoma Education Association. She is now retired in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where she is the person of her Bichon Frise’ Chase.
