About the Book

My passion is to write whether it is a story, poem, or book. It is a hobby as well as enjoyment. Writing not only relieves stress, it broadens one’s mind. I also draw pictures as a hobby. As a child, I would sit and draw for hours at a time. I once entered a contest. I didn’t win but was offered a chance to attend an artist school. Now that I am retired from work, I love to travel, go places that I have never been, meet new people, and explore the unknown. I am a Christian, and I don’t consider myself a Democrat or a Republican. I usually decide to vote by the message given. I have lived in Huntsville, Alabama, all of my life and can remember when it was a small town with mom-and-pop grocery stores, five-and-dime stores instead of big shopping malls.
