About the Book

Erich Brandt was recruited by none other than the head of the German Secret Service to return to the United States, specifically the Wilmington, N.C. area to free one particular prisoner of war held in a new POW camp. He is assigned a young girl to be his mentor, lover and trainer for his period of training for the infiltration task. He fell in love with the girl and is heartbroken when he has to leave Germany and his sweetheart to enter the coast of North Carolina for his assigned task. Changing his name to Eric Brand, he uses the identity papers provided by the German Secret Service to obtain a job in the shipyards of Wilmington. He meets with another undercover agent who provides him with the prison layout and a possible entrance/exit of the prison. After he accomplishes his mission he is surprised to receive another signal to meet with his contact agent. The contact turns out to be his sweetheart from Germany who he reunites with. One more mountain needs to be climbed when the other secret agent returns from Germany and threatens to expose Eric which would result in a hangman’s noose.

About the Author

Bill Seddon was a child of the south and a lover of the ocean front beaches. He has spent all his life in Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia. He currently lives in the mountains of Georgia with deer and other wild animals. He was college educated and spent most of his working career for a major telecommunications company. His greatest love is Scotty dogs.
