About the Book

My Life as a Patient - by Julie Carmody Virtuoso I am not writing this essay of my illnesses so that anyone will feel sorry for me. I don’t feel sorry for me so no one else should. I just want people to know that when you’re down it does not mean you are out. As the saying goes “Put on your big girl pants(or big boy pants) and deal with it”. If you laugh everyday about something - anything, it will make you feel better - attitude is a big thing. It took me awhile to learn that. I believe in God as our savior and benefactor. If He gives you something He will help you with it. Throughout my life there have been many blessings so I will tell you my sometimes funny and sometimes scary events as a patient - but on the good side He wants me here still. I am still here due to the excellent treatment that I received from my family, friends, doctor, nurses, hospitals, ambulance drivers and most all God. I love them all and thank them. This is for you guys.

About the Author

I am a mother. Also, a grandmother and I am retired. I wanted to leave a little something for the children I love. Here it is. Roberts, Clark, Macomber, Lewis and all other writers you can read this and breathe easy - no way I can or will compete. Luv ya. This is dedicated to a bunch of very special people. Jakin, Savanna, Aiden, Calix, Ben, Tyler, Jacob, Joey, Avery and Cameron. I love them all and hope they like these stories.
