About the Book
This is a fictional story about a mature woman named Lynette who lives alone and wonders about what her future life will bring. She has her children who visit, but—she questions—is that enough for her?
She gets involved with Chester Givens, the first man who shows interest in her, taken him to bed knowing fully well he will only be in her area for the winter. While she does not give that a thought, she is sensitive to what others will think of her when he returns to his home up north.
She meets a man on the beach who shows friendly interest and suddenly disappears from her life.
She questions sex, and she is about to call it quits when she hears of Chester’s family emergency and how he has to return to his mother’s home area. She feels guilty and offers to go with him, if he wants her comfort. She hears what she can’t understand. Her future is once again out of her reach, or is it?
