About the Book

This book is about the life and times of a girl born and raised in a small town. She was raised mostly by her grandparents. It includes the up and down process of living that helped her to become the woman that she is today. It covers a period from elementary school to retirement. It tells of a person that had a happy childhood, and a somewhat difficult adolescence and a challenged adulthood. Life can be a challenge but we can overcome obstacles if we are willing to sacrifice some things. A lot of sacrifices were made and this writing is about some of the challenges that were faced down through the years—some were quite bitter while others were sweet. The book is about the life experiences of this small town girl. Hopefully these writings will help someone along the way. It is the intention of the writer to convey the importance of going to school and getting a degree, the importance of abstinence before marriage and the importance of not jumping at every person that says “I love you”. A person needs to find themselves and be all they can be before they get attached to someone else.
