About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jack D. Harmon Jack was born in the township of Ensley; which is in the county of Newaygo, Michigan on April 25th 1932. Jack lived there until he was nine years old, and then moved on to Detroit with his parents when his father went to work in a factory there. In 1945 Jack found himself at Rush Lake near Atlanta, Michigan and graduated from Atlanta High in 1950 and lived there until 1955. He spent two years in the army (16 months in Korea), then returning home to Atlanta where he got married and had five children. Jack lived in Pontiac, Michigan between 1955 and 1957 only to return to Atlanta to run a Pulpwood Producing operation until 1967. He then returned to California in 2004, where he now lives in the small high desert town of Landers. Jack, now 77 years young and hoping that the next 77 years will bring many adventures to write about.
