My name is David E Bowman and I am a poet. I have been writing poetry Since I was 11 or 12 years old, even as a child I learned to love the great poets of our time, suffices to say there are too many to name here. Within these pages you will see and read( if you choose) my life work. I can guarantee that the limits of who we are as human beings will be tested within our minds, bodies, spirits and souls over and over again in so many different ways, for words incite emotions to explode within the human heart Into shapes and forms that you have never seen before and may never ever see again in any lifetime. But I am just a poet and I will let my works speak for themselves. One thing I will say is that you will become a student once more In the seeking of knowledge willing and eager to share my works with anyone and everyone that you meet for I have been told that my work has this effect on the reader. I hope it too has the same effect upon you to the point that you Really begin to think and evaluate your lives for the first time no matter what Your age might be for we’re all just children of God seeking to know more! For in my work there is always a room for forgiveness, always an ocean of love Always the balance of understanding and compassion, empathy and humility As great concepts of wisdoms flow like water through the essence of who and What we are alive and well( I can only hope) as I pray that one day these Worries will no longer be the great problems that they are today. So come with me and take a journey through space and time Time and time again for my poems are so unique that they boggle my mind And I am the simple man that wrote them. I hope and pray that they give you As much joy in reading them as the joy and wonder I found in writing them for you. For this has humbled me in doing so over the years to no end. For we are but tiny grains of sand on oceans of knowledge! Yet to be uncovered and written for the world to see and read and enjoy.
