About the Author

Carrie Edwards is an educator and mother of three. She has enjoyed working with children of all ages and through her work has developed an appreciation for the joy that children bring to the world. In the time that she has spent working with children she has also come to understand that the view of the world from a child’s eyes can at times be overwhelming. She believes that reading is a wonderful way to not only inspire growth in the imagination of children, but is also a way to help them understand some of life’s most important lessons. In Can’t Steal My Joy, children will learn to think positive in difficult situations through the eyes of the main character, Ben. Edwards lives in McDonough, Georgia with her husband and three children. Can’t Steal My Joy is her first published children’s book.
