About the Author

Marjorie Bantle’s interest in writing these stories springs from her happiness in working with children. In earlier years, Marjorie was an elementary school teacher, having taught in various environments of public and private schools and in a home tutorial program. Mrs. Bantle’s hobby of travel was sparked by young people when she accompanied her Girl Scout troop to Europe during summer vacation. They traveled with backpacks to sixteen countries for two and a half months, living primarily in Girl Scout and youth hostels.
