The author received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire in 1956, his M.S. from the University of Utah in 1962, with further work from the Universities of Minnesota, Oregon, Montana and Virginia.
He received the standard Christian indoctrination as a child and was a default Christian until early in his undergraduate years when he became totally apostate. Two science majors and enhanced critical thinking skills hastened the process.
A thirty-five-year career teaching Biology, A.P. Biology, Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy and Physiology, and Chemistry ended when he retired in 1991.
He has spent his retirement gardening, fishing, bird watching, traveling with his wife, writing, and watching his grandchildren grow.
