About the Book
Dr. Ralph Bailey is a retired minister who lives with his wife, Vermelle, in Savannah GA., the city in which he was born. In addition to parish ministry, he served for thirteen years as a Director of Personal Care at Candler General Hospital, has written curriculum for the Methodist Publishing House, numerous articles for nationally distributed periodicals, and several creative programs for use in local congregations. Presently, he is a pastor emeritus at historic Trinity UMC, known as the Mother Church of Savannah Methodism. He is an avid boater, and currently serves as president of Savannah’s Southside Optimism Club.
For Everything A Season is their story. Simply written, deeply personal, totally honest, the book digs deeply into Ralph’s soul. In spite of its tragic aspects it leads the reader through the night of despair into the sunshine of a bright new day.
