About the Book

Club des écrivains de Clarence-Rockland Écrivains aidant d’autres écrivains Notre groupe a été inspiré par les accumulations des auteurs locaux qui ont exhibé un besoin primordiale de sortie positive. Plusieurs de nos membres ont déjà publié des travaux des genres variables, tel que : (Suzanne Chartier-Patry—Priceless Memories dans l’anthologie “Last Good-byes” par {the International Library of Poetry-1999}, et elle a aussi auto-publié son livre de poèmes en 2002. Alexandra d’Quimper “Grant; The People, the Settlement, the Story-2002. Monique Lacasse “Jessica’s Angel” et son poème “Fear”. Notre objectif est de créer une anthologie bilingue qui refléterait la vie de l’artiste inconnu et des événements connus et inconnus entourant la vie rurale dans Clarence-Rockland. Ce livre accueille des histoires et des poèmes soumis par nos auteurs et par des étudiants des écoles qui ont participé à notre “Premier concours d’écrivains,” Notre but est de promouvoir et d’encourager les jeunes en herbe en explorant une carrière d’écrivain, découvrant la potentialité et s’exprimer par l’intermédiaire de la plume dans les deux langues officielles.

About the Author

Suzanne Patry-Chartier was born September 21st, 1954 in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). She married David in October of 1972, they raised five children: Jacqueline, Christiane,Claude, Jeanette and Kyle. Suzanne Patry-Chartier is a Grandmother of eight. Through the years she has had prose poetry published in anthology books. A children's story is pending publication. Few poems that were published in the Continental Farm News in Embrun Ontario. The Newspaper “Vision” had an “Ice Storm of 1998” contest and one of her verses on survival “Storming Mad”was published. She was also a member of the Prescott-Russell Optimist Club in Bourget Ontario. She received her diploma in Short Story/Journalism and a certificate in Fine Arts through the ICS in Montreal. She moved to Brantford Ontario and received her Secondary School Graduation Diploma in 2008. Her love for writing prose and short stories initiated the non-profit “Writers Club” in order to bring out the writing talent in her Community. With this she hopes to encourage children to learn and write about their family's history and their own experiences.
