About the Author

Bethelyn Sue Gadbow was born in Duncan Oklahoma. She and her twin sister, Janice LaRue were raised in Duncan. She was married to Rev. Don C. Gadbow on August 19 1961. After graduating from Oklahoma University School of Nursing, she and her husband entered the ministry serving as pastors in Illinois, Florida, Indiana, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Iowa, Missouri, and currently in Texas While involved in nursing for 51 years she was also very involved in their ministry. She was gifted with the gift of hospitality and was always busy entertaining those in the Church and those she worked with. She and her twin sister started a tea room, Rue’s and Sue’s Victorian Armoire”in. St Peters, Missouri. During this time Bethelyn developed many 5 course teas and they were offered in many locations as well as the Tea Room. A choice of several menus was offered to groups from two to fifty. She authored “Tea Is A Time, A Gracious Time” to encourage others to plan these special times of showing appreciation to those we love and are special to us. It is her desire that this book will help you to plan a Special Tea for a Special group of people.
