About the Book

The book cover depicts a man made up in such a fashion that it depicts a universal man. His head is strung with stars. Below, planetary orbs also situate man symbolically. The sun and moon make up his eyes. The flight of a bird create his nose. Mountains and a lake compose his lips and mouth. Clouds form his eyebrows. The is a choker around his neck with a medallion at its center. The throat is the matrix of speech. As these poems manifest my speaking, I have placed my initials therein. His chin suggest mountain ranges and shorelines. Overall, the drawing infers that all of nature is of man’s image. That nature and humankind are one.
