About the Author
Franklin Morgan was born in Rockingham, NC, in 1984, and grew up in the small farming town of Ellerbe, NC. He wrote his first story in the Third Grade for the local newspaper; however, it was not until the Ninth Grade that he discovered his passion for writing. Franklin’s first poem was published in August 2010. Shortly thereafter, he began work on his first novel, Time Delay. Franklin is an Eagle Scout, and obtained a Gold Eagle Palm. He attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville, graduating with a B.A. in history with a minor in Spanish. Franklin is entering his fifth year as a teacher as a middle school social studies teacher. Franklin lives alone with his two dogs, Ricky and Lucy, cat, Buttons, two hens, Julie and Scarlett, and a baby chick as yet unnamed. He enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking.
